We are very happy to announce that on November 16, 2023, The U.S. Department of State officially extended the E-visa duration for French nationals from 25 months to 48 months. E-visa duration was previously 60 months, but was cut down to 25 months during the Trump presidency. Following a visit to the United States by President Macron, relevant authorities in both countries worked hard to bring this new visa duration to fruition. Note that in addition to the 48-month duration there is a small reciprocity fee attached to the E-visa ($58 USD).

The E-visa is a critical tool for French-owned companies (by either individual French nationals or as publicly traded stocks) as well as French entrepreneurs to enter the United States and develop or expand their business. Green and Spiegel specializes in assisting French entrepreneurs expand current operations into the United States, or start new business ventures in the United States. The E-2 can be used for owners of the company, as well as for managerial or specialized workers.  For additional information and a consultation please do not hesitate to contact our offices.
