I adopted a very sweet boy from Honduras whose father was murdered and was living in absolute poverty in Honduras. I wished to sponsor him for his application for permanent residence in Canada, The IRCC process is a jungle and even people with legal training, such as myself, find it all a maze that is impossible to navigate on your own. Before reaching immigration law firm “Green and Spiegel” I had contacted several others law firms around Toronto and Ottawa. Everyone considered my case difficult and improbable because my tourist visa had been rejected. Everyone recommended that I make another request and were very skeptical about the outcome. They were not in favor of legal proceedings and thought that it should be long, tedious and lost in advance. One of the lawyers would even dissuade me from filing a complaint because according to him I will be banned, prohibited from traveling to Canada. In short, by contacting the Green and Spiegel Law Firm and after my interview with Mr. Emre Esensoy, I found a glimmer of hope. He reviewed my file and understood that my case had been treated in a laconic way, the immigration officer had not looked at all the evidence that I had attached to my application and had understood that reapplying would not have brought more info from what I had already provided. He decided to file a complaint to the federal government and after 3 months I won my case and the federal government decided to reopen my immigration file and finally granted me the visitor visa.
