It is with great excitement that on their 10th anniversary as a Firm Green and Spiegel, U.S. proudly announces their newest location – Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Philadelphia, PA: To better serve European clients seeking status in the United States and Canada, as well as to serve as a hub for new global mobility offerings, Green and Spiegel has opened a Netherlands office, located at Herengracht 168, 1016BP Amsterdam.

When asked about the new office location, Jonathan Grode, U.S. Practice Director and Managing Partner said, “I am very excited by our expansion to the EU and specifically to Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As we enter the 2nd decade of Green and Spiegel US, and the 6th decade for the firm overall, this offering will truly cement our place as a global leader in the field of immigration law and international mobility.”

As a result of Brexit, Green and Spiegel, U.S. wanted to expand beyond its partnerships with leading United Kingdom immigration firms and focus on a presence in the European Union. The Netherlands became their leading candidate location because although the Netherlands’ geographic footprint may be small, they make a big contribution to world trade. They have been a member of the European Union since 1951 and are a major trading partner of the United States. As one of the most developed countries in the world, they have a large amount of resources and industries. Natural resources found in the Netherlands include crops, fish, gravel, limestone, peat, salt, sand, natural gas, and petroleum. They support industries such as renewable energy and cleantech, agriculture and horticulture, life sciences and health, AI and technology, banking and finance, as well as shipping and logistics.

In addition, the Netherlands is home to many corporations, startups, medical centers, research institutions, and universities who use technology and AI to create health, life, and science solutions. It has a thriving tech scene, making it an ideal place for entrepreneurs, innovators, universities and businesses that want to create solutions to improve the environment and make a global impact. The Netherlands is also home to many immigrants, with a well-educated workforce consisting of over 179 nationalities and a 90% English-speaking population. It is the ideal location for a European business to attract international talent.

With this new location not only will Green and Spiegel, U.S. be better able to serve their existing clients based in the EU, but they will also be able to expand their global mobility program to the rest of the world.
