Sonia Sidhu is a Senior Associate with over 13 years of dedicated practice in immigration law. She has worked at leading international immigration firms, prior to joining Green and Spiegel. She has gained extensive experience managing both temporary (work permits, study permits and temporary resident permits) and permanent residency matters.
Throughout her career, Sonia has worked extensively with clients in the automotive, technology, transportation, and infrastructure industries in Canada, assisting with the transfer of employees and key personnel as companies establish or grow operations in Canada. She has also advised on permanent residency applications through various economic (CEC, FSW, PNP, AIP, Self-Employed) and business immigration (Start Up Visa) programs.
In addition to her corporate immigration work, Sonia has a background in litigation and has appeared before the Immigration Appeal Division and Federal Court on immigration-related matters. Her comprehensive experience allows her to navigate complex immigration challenges effectively, providing strategic solutions for businesses and individuals alike.
