Shreya is a Student-at-Law at Green and Spiegel, LLP. She works on all kinds of temporary and permanent residence applications, including those on Humanitarian and Compassionate (H&C) grounds. She also extensively assists with all sorts of Judicial Review (JR) matters before the Federal Court of Canada. These include both, individual and corporate, immigration matters.
Shreya graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with a Juris Doctor in 2025, where she co-founded the school’s first Immigration and Refugee Law Society (IRLS). As a student, Shreya was actively involved with the student newspaper, caucus, and the mooting program, placing second runners-up at the nation-wide Julius Alexander Issac Moot in 2025. During law school, Shreya worked at Parkdale Community Legal Services (PCLS) as a student caseworker in the immigration law division, providing pro bono assistance to clients with precarious and complex immigration matters. She was also a volunteer researcher with the International Refugee Assistance Program (IRAP).
Prior to law school, Shreya completed her Honors Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from the University of Toronto in 2022. She majored in International Relations, and Peace and Conflict studies, focusing on the experiences of unaccompanied minor refugees in Canada. While completing her undergraduate degree, Shreya also worked at Matthew House Refugee Services, a refugee home in Toronto from 2021-2023.
