This morning, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced further restrictions on travel between the United States and Canada. Effective Monday, February 15, all non-essential travellers entering Canada by land will be required to show a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72-hours of arrival at a land border. While Canadians and permanent residents cannot be denied entry into the country at a border crossing, those that are unable to provide this test result will face fines up to $3,000 per person.
