Bio

Toni Valenti is an Articling Student at Green and Spiegel LLP in Toronto. Toni assists clients with all aspects of immigration law in Canada. Toni recently graduated from the University of Ottawa, Common Law section. While in school, Toni completed two internships in the area of immigration and refugee law. Toni has interned at both Legal Aid assisting on refugee matters, and in private practice. Toni has also been involved with the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers, first as the co-chair of LobbyCon, and then as the acting co-chair for the club. Toni has also volunteered with Pro Bono students Canada, and worked as a research fellow for the Centre for Law, Technology, and Society at the University of Ottawa.

Prior to law school, Toni completed her Master’s degree in Indigenous Relations at Laurentian University. Toni secured a Canadian Institute of Health Research grant to study type 2 diabetes health outcomes in northern communities. Toni holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Laurentian University.
