Kelly Goldthorpe is an associate lawyer at Green and Spiegel, LLP in Toronto. Kelly manages accounts and relationships with major corporations and businesses to facilitate the movement of temporary foreign workers, business visitors and other immigration needs. Kelly can help clients who wish to obtain permanent residence status including: economic class, family class applications and humanitarian and compassionate applications. Kelly also assists clients in litigation, admissibility and enforcement matters, detention reviews, sponsorship appeals, alternative dispute resolutions and Federal Court judicial reviews. 

Kelly helps manage the application process for work, study and visitor visas to Canada as well as permanent residence applications which involves preparing submissions to Service Canada, immigration offices, embassies and consulates worldwide and counseling on entrance into Canada. Kelly is an advocate for clients and has appeared before the Immigration Appeal Division for medical inadmissibility refusals, spousal sponsorship refusals, the Immigration Division on detention reviews and the Federal Court of Canada on judicial reviews and citizenship appeals. In November 2018, Kelly was honoured as a Lexpert Rising Star, a prestigious award for lawyers who are at the top of the legal profession.

Prior to embarking on her law career, Kelly worked as a Statistical Analyst at Statistics Canada in the Immigration and Ethnocultural Statistics section where she Published numerous articles about the economic and social conditions of Canadians and in particular, immigrants and visible minorities.
