Genevieve Giesbrecht is an Articling Student at Green and Spiegel LLP in Toronto. Genevieve assists clients with all aspects of immigration law in Canada. Genevieve is particularly interested in litigation and in admissibility issues as they relate to criminal law.

Genevieve recently graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in the top 4% of her class. Genevieve spent a summer working in a corporate law firm in Vancouver. While in school, Genevieve volunteered with immigration and refugee law organizations. She completed the International and Transnational Intensive Program at Osgoode, where she spent a semester working at the Refugee Law Office. She was also the President of the Legal and Literary Society, Osgoode’s student government.

Prior to law school, Genevieve studied International Development Studies at the University of Winnipeg. She spent time working for an association and event management firm and coaching rhythmic gymnastics.
