Benjamin S. Green is an associate at Green and Spiegel LLP in Toronto. Benjamin is called to the bar in both Canada and the United States and is able to practice federal immigration law in both countries. Benjamin assists clients in all areas of Canadian immigration, including both corporate and personal immigration matters. Notably, Benjamin has experience working with corporate employee transfers, federal skilled worker applications, applications under NAFTA-exempt status, and the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. Regarding U.S. matters, Benjamin has experience handling nonimmigrant and immigrant visas for new company start-ups, professional workers, artists, and athletes.
Benjamin routinely splits his time between Green and Spiegel’s Toronto and U.S. offices.
Benjamin is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School. During law school, Benjamin was active with the Osgoode Hall Mooting Society, winning awards for both written and oral advocacy. He also served as an Associate Editor for the Osgoode Hall Law Journal. In addition, he was awarded the Stringer LLP Essay Prize. Before law school, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in American Studies from Western University, graduating with Distinction. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Gold Medal for Highest Academic Standing in the Faculty.
Prior to joining Green and Spiegel, Benjamin worked in the Legal Department of a Fortune 500 company and for the Players’ Association of a Major Professional Sports League.
