Alannah Glintz is an associate at Green and Spiegel LLP in Toronto. Alannah assists clients in all areas of Canadian immigration, including corporate and personal immigration matters. Alannah can assist clients with temporary applications such as, work permit applications and study permit applications, as well as applications for permanent residency and citizenship. Alannah also has experience assisting with litigation matters at the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court of Canada.
Alannah was called to the Ontario Bar after articling at Green and Spiegel LLP. She previously graduated from the Dual JD program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. During law school, Alannah was student coordinator and case worker for Windsor Law’s Refugee Sponsorship Support Program, and a research assistant in the areas of immigration law and cross-border transactions. Alannah was also a copy editor for the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues. In addition, she volunteered her time with the Legal Assistance of Windsor and served as Vice President of Windsor Law’s chapter of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers.
Prior to joining Green and Spiegel, Alannah worked for the trusted traveler and immigration passenger operations branches of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). Alannah also volunteered for the Ministry of Corrections and Community Services.
