EXPRESS ENTRY #193 – 742 CRS POINTS - PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM ONLY

Express Entry - Latest CRS score

Today, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced the 12th Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw of 2021. Draw #193 issued 1,002 invitations to apply (ITAs) to candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 742. The CRS score increased by 31 points compared to the previous PNP draw held on June 9th, 2021.

The PNP is aligned with the federal Express Entry system. Candidates that receive a provincial nomination automatically obtain an additional 600 CRS points. The program is designed for workers who have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of a specific province or territory. Each province and territory have their own “streams” which vary depending on the province’s needs.

Today’s draw is now the largest PNP-specific draw since the program began. The total number of ITA now issued in 2021 increased to 81,713. Almost doubling the numbers issued compared to this time last year.

IRCC applied its tie-breaking rule with the timestamp of February 18, 2021, at 04:04:56 UTC. This means that Candidates who had the minimum score of 742 are only invited if they submitted their Express Entry profile before the tie-breaking rule.
