October 2nd, 2019 – Express Entry Draw

October 2nd
Today, the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 3,900 applicants with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 464 or higher to apply for permanent residence. The CRS score increased 2 points from the previous draw held on September 18th, 2019.

The 3,900 Invitations to Apply (ITA) issued in today's draw brings the total number issued in 2019 to 67,300. As of July 10th, IRCC has been issuing expanded draw sizes and today's draw is the biggest we have seen all year.

Today’s draw also marks the 127th round of invitations since Express Entry came into force and with that, IRCC has applied its tie-breaking rule with the time stamp of September 20th, 2019, at 15:05:04 UTC. This simply means that all candidates with a CRS score of 464 or above, and previous candidates with a score of 464 or above who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before the selected tie-breaking date and time, will receive an invitation in this round.
