Today, the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 3,600
applicants with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 466
or higher to apply for permanent residence. The CRS score today increased 7
points from the previous draw on July 24, 2019.
This is the third consecutive draw that has had a relatively high number of invitations issued compared to the previous rounds of 2019 this year which have been capped at 3,350. The 3,600 ITAs issued in today's draw brings the total number issued in 2019 to 52,600
. It's also the first draw since May 29th, 2019 to see the cut-off score increase.
Today’s draw marks the 123rd
round of invitations since Express Entry came into force and with that, IRCC has applied its tie-breaking rule with the time stamp of August 6th, 2019, at 12:14:53 UTC
. This simply means that all candidates with a CRS score of 466
or above, and previous candidates with a score of 466
or above who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before the selected tie-breaking date and time, will receive an invitation in this round.
