Today, the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 3,600
applicants with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 459
or higher to apply for permanent residence, a one-point decrease from the previous draw.
The 3,600 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) is the second consecutive draw that a high number of invitations were issued compared to the previous rounds of 2019 which were usually capped at 3,350. It's also the fourth consecutive draw to see the cut-off score decrease slightly since the draw on May 29th, 2019.
Today’s draw marks the 122nd
round of invitations since Express Entry came into force and with that, IRCC has applied its tie-breaking rule with the time stamp of May 25th, 2019, at 14:40:52 UTC
. This simply means that all candidates with a CRS score of 459
or above, and previous candidates with a score of 459
or above who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before the selected tie-breaking date and time, will receive an invitation in this round.
