Oct 23, 2015 ? Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has invited 1,502 Express Entry candidates to apply for Permanent Residence in Canada. The lowest qualifying score was 489, representing a rise in scores over recent rounds. This is the tenth consecutive draw for which the lowest qualifying score has been below the 600 point benchmark. A total of 25,044 invitations have been issued since the program was launched in January 2015.

Express Entry uses a comprehensive ranking system to rank prospective immigrants to Canada. Candidates are awarded up to 600 points based on a variety of factors meant to assess their ability to succeed in Canada, including age, language skills, education and work experience. An additional 600 points are awarded for holding a valid job offer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment.
