September 8, 2015 ? Citizenship and Immigration Canada has invited 1,517 Express Entry candidates to apply for Permanent Residence in Canada. The lowest qualifying score was 459. This is the 16th draw of candidates from the Express Entry pool since the program was launched in January 2015. A total of 20,467 invitations have been issued.

Express Entry uses a comprehensive ranking system to rank prospective immigrants to Canada. Candidates are awarded up to 600 points based on assess their ability to succeed in Canada, including age, language skills, education and work experience. An additional 600 points are awarded for holding a valid job offer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment.
