Biden Administration Grants TPS to Venezuelans

The Biden Administration has announced that it will offer Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to an estimated 300,000 Venezuelans living in the United States. Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, announced the designation on behalf of the Administration, authorizing TPS for eighteen months, or until September of 2022. Appeals Court Rules Trump Administration Can End Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

American Dream and Promise Act of 2019 Passes in the House

On Tuesday, June 4th, the majority Democratic House of Representatives passed legislation to open up a pathway to citizenship for roughly 2.5 million immigrants.
