· All areas, with emphasis on H&C’s, PRRA’s, refugee claims, sponsorships, skilled workers, LMO’s, work and study permits, TRP’s, etc. Particular emphasis on sexual orientation issues.
· Works closely with Service Canada offices as well as Canadian Embassies and High Commissions abroad
· Works extensively with corporate clients in processing Criminal Rehabilitation applications and securing Temporary Resident Permits (along with work permits) for individuals who must urgently enter
Canada for important business purposes but who are criminally inadmissible to
Canada
· Conducts and collects extensive country research materials relating to various socio-political and human rights issues around the world (much of this proves very useful in preparing detailed H&C and PRRA applications as well as RPD submissions in a time efficient manner)
