The Parent and Grandparent Sponsorship (PGP) program is one of Canada’s most popular immigration programs. Last year, the program operated on a first-come, first-serve basis and hit its program limit of 20,000 applicants in just 11 minutes after going live.

Details of the 2020 Parent and Grandparent Sponsorship program will be announced soon. What we do know is that the program will be available to Canadian citizens and permanent residents meeting all the eligibility requirements. These include demonstrating certain minimum income requirements are met and evidence that the sponsor can financially support their dependents and the applicant(s). Applicants being sponsored must also meet immigration requirements.

We will be monitoring the situation very closely and will send out an e-lert as soon as the government provides information about how the program will work.  You can also get the latest news by following us on social media.  Follow us on TwitterLinkedinInstagram and Facebook and we will let you know about the Parent and Grandparent Program as soon as we can.  If you have any questions, please contact us.
