Effective March 12, 2019, USCIS will resume accepting Premium Processing for all H-1B Petitions. This move comes more than 6 months after USCIS initially suspended this service that guarantees a decision within 15 calendar days of filing, and following partial resumptions back in January and February. Now, USCIS will accept Forms I-907 accompanied by $1,410.00 filing fees for all H-1B Petitions, whether they are to-be-filed or pending.

The $1,410.00 question that remains is whether USCIS will once again suspend Premium Processing for H-1B Cap cases, as it has for the past two years. 2017’s announcement arrived at the beginning of March, and last year’s came on March 20. As such, it is difficult to decipher USCIS’ plans at this point in time. However, we will continue to monitor Premium Processing’s availability for this year’s H-1B Cap, and are always here to answer all questions H-1B and/or Premium Processing.
